The Goals and Objectives of GSPOA are as follows:
- To promote fellowship among members and to provide resources for the exchange of information within this organization and with other organizations.
- To assist our membership by fostering educational learning opportunities through various workshops, conferences and seminars.
- To engage in charitable activities.
- To network with other groups and organizations that have similar interests and objectives.
- To provide a forum for the planning and implementation of activities and programs for the benefit of the association and its members.
- To provide outreach to the law enforcement and fire fighting professions relating to our organization and the gay and lesbian community.
